What is an SSL Certificate - do I need one?

SSL Certificates are only needed when you have a valid reason, like collecting sensitive information on your website, when you have your own credit card merchant account. You don't need one if you are using a third party provider like PayPal. If you will be using your own merchant account, we can provide the SSL Certificate, a static IP, and installation. You can buy your certificate elsewhere, but we will need to install it and provide a static IP for it on our server.
